Infant Massage Instructor Certification Training is an internationally-recognized course to certify you to teach families to massage their babies. When a parent massages their baby, they develop a closer bond with their child, learn to read their baby’s complex language of cues and expressions, and provide their infant with nurturing touch that has been recognized in research studies to support better sleep patterns, improve immune function, accelerate maturation, and facilitate communication skills.
We traditionally teach all our trainings in-person in small groups where the participant can have hands-on experience watching and teaching families with their babies, and can personally experience the mentoring of a Certified International Trainer from the International Association of Infant Massage, headquartered in Sweden. During the pandemic we are offering a limited number of trainings online, and small socially-distanced in-person trainings when possible. We also offer in-house trainings to organizations.
Infant Massage USA’s 28 hour trainings are recognized for CEUs by accrediting organizations for Nurses, OTs, PTs, Lactation Consultants, Social Workers, Massage Therapists, Doulas, Child Life Specialists, and more. Visit Infant Massage USA for the most current information on CEUs.
You can register for the trainings listed here on this website by choosing from the following options:
- Register with a $100 deposit. This deposit is refundable up to three weeks before the training. The remainder of your payment is due before the start of the training.
- Early Bird Registration: Register three weeks or more in advance and receive a $25 discount – $670.
- Register with full payment of $695. Use this choice when the training is less than three weeks away.
- Pay the remainder of your early-bird registration after a deposit – $570.
- Pay the remainder of your full training fee after a deposit – $595.
- Pay $15 for CEUs if you are a Nurse, OT, PT, Lactation Consultant, Social Worker or Massage Therapist. There is no charge for other fields.
- Purchase a doll to be mailed to you, or shipped to your in-person training – $52. The dolls are used in class to learn on and to demonstrate movements to the families. I will send you information about choosing a doll if you prefer to find your own.
